Abstract
451,216. Transformers. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. March 13, 1936, No. 7665. Convention date, March 27, 1935. [Class 38 (ii)] Comprises a constant current transformer in which a pivoted coil 14 is moved by a double lever linkwork consisting of a weighted lever 25 attached by a pin-and-slot connection to a lever 19 which moves the coil through a link 18. The pivots 20, 24, of the two levers are displaced so that the pull on the link 18 varies with the angular position of the linkwork. This is said to produce constant current working throughout the load range. The pin 28 connecting the two levers may be adjusted by screws 31 so that the angular relationship of the two levers may be varied.
