Abstract

450,156. Knitting-machines. TAKAOKA, I., 132, Chaencho, Konohanaku, Osaka, Japan. Jan. 8, 1935, No. 632. [Class 74 (ii)] Relates to a circular machine for making the fabric shown in Fig. 7. The warps c are drawn from bobbins 15 mounted on a stationary part of the machine and pass through radial guides 14 mounted in a cam cap 8. The knitting yarns a, a<1> come from bobbins 6, 10 revolving with the cam cylinder 3 and pass to alternate feeds. The guides 14 are reciprocated so as to bring the warps c to the back of the needles when yarns a are being fed and to the front when yarns a<1> are being fed, the warps, in the second case, passing over a deflector 16.
