Abstract

459,979. Junction boxes. SARGENT, E. B., 95, Inglewood Drive, Mt. Lebanon Station, and ROBERTSON CO., H. H., Grant Building, 3rd Avenue, both in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Jan. 23, 1936. No. 2158. [Class 38 (i)] A floor outlet fixture is of hollow post form with a removable cap 19 and a flared base 11 centrally apertured to receive a pipe 13 screwed into the conduit 24. The upper end of the pipe may be screwthreaded as shown or it may be flanged to co-operate with an internal flange in the post, a series of holes in the pipe flange and arcuate slots in the post flange allowing the parts to be bolted together at any angle about the vertical. The post and cap 19 may be cut away to accommodate outlet devices at 20.
