[Class 105] The signal or points control system described in the parent Specification in which the entry of wheels into a section operates axle-counting means by opening normally-closed contacts in an impulsing circuit has the power supply for this circuit connected in adjacent to the wheel-controlled contacts. An accidental bridging of the leads thus gives the same effect as the entry of a wheel, and puts the signal to danger. The power may be derived from a power line and converted by potentiometers or rectifiers so as to be suitable for the signalling circuit.
