455,163. Collar stiffeners. LAMBOURNES (BIRMINGHAM), Ltd., and LAMBOURNE, R. G. H., 170, Great Hampton Row, Birmingham. July 31, 1935, No. 21683. [Class 141] [See also Group XXII] A collar stiffener of celluloid, metal, &c. is provided with a lateral lug a<1> at its upper end, and the main portion a tapers towards the lower end a<2>. The longitudinal edge contiguous with the lug may be straight or formed with waves over a part or the whole of its length. In a modification, Fig. 8, lugs a<1> project on both sides of the stem. In cutting out from a sheet, Fig. 2, alternate stiffeners are inverted so as to economise material.
