[Class 65 (ii)] [See also Group I] A hinge for a closetseat comprises an eye L, to which the seat is hinged by a pin M, rotatably mounted in the end of an inverted flanged channel bracket D, fixed by a headed bolt J on which it can be slid for longitudinal adjustment and swung for lateral adjustment before the bolt is tightened ; the eye L fits in a slot in the rear edge of the seat, and the pin M is a screw which is inserted from the side of the seat through a suitable bore intersecting the slot.
