441,814. Twisting yarns at delivery. CARRIZZONI, P., Mandello Jario, Como, Italy. June 12, 1935, No. 16962. Convention date, June 28, 1934. [Class 120 (ii)] Delivery-spindle apparatus for throwing- machines comprises a cylindrical or slightly conical cap 1 adapted to fit on the tip of the spindle and to be retained thereon against axial displacement while rotation is permitted by an internal spring-device 4, and provided with a pulley-like lower portion 1 to carry a wire flyer 3 the arms of which are bent downwards and then upwards in the form of a coil 3<1> for engagement of the yarn therewith. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also wire arms 4, adjustable in notches in the cap itself, Fig. 7 (Cancelled), or in a separate disc-piece 5, Fig. 6 (Cancelled), and auxiliary eyes 6, to enable the tension to be adjusted in accordance with the nature of the thread and the degree of twist. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
