447,868. Letterboxes &c. TAYLOR, W. C., 74, Beaumont Road, Bournville, Birmingham. Oct. 2, 1935, No. 27130. [Class 18] A mail receptacle for attachment to a door &c. o provided with a slot m for the insertion of the packages is characterized in that the known flexible sack a has its open end b looped around a rigid frame c which embraces the slot and is fixed in a permanent or immovable manner to the door &c., the sack having an access slit therein, preferably along the bottom and normally closed by the known sliding clasp fastening g. The sack a may be reinforced at f, provided with a celluloid window h, and further held against the door &c. by lugs adapted to engage over buttons screwed into the door &c. Pivoted wires k are provided to prevent illicit removal of the contents.
