Abstract

433,886. Earrings &c. SPELMAN, R. W. R., Solsboro, Granville Road, Timperley, Cheshire. March 23, 1934, No. 9137. [Class 43] An ear ornament comprising a U- shaped portion 2-3 adapted to be affixed to the ear lobe has an upwardly and inwardly extending supplemental member 6 which is provided with a ball 7 for engagement with the lower end of the ear recess 8. The extension 6 may be formed integrally with the frame 2-3 or may be pivotally or telescopically mounted in the outer limb 3, and the U-shaped portion may be sprung on to the ear lobe or secured thereto by a screw 4. Alternatively, the limb 2 may be pivotally connected to the limb 3 and retained in open or closed position by means of a spring.
