Aug. 3, 1934, No. 22725. [Class 92 (i)] Relates to an adjustable rear support C arranged between the gun and an arcuate training guide 6 and of the kind permitting of fine and coarse adjustments in elevation. According to the invention, the coarse adjustment is provided by slotted members. 7 carried by a bracket 5, movable round the arc 6 the slots receiving a clamping bolt 10 carried by the member 2 forming the lower end of the device for fine adjustment. A handle 12 engaging a screw on the bolt 10 serves to effect the coarse adjustment and to lock the bolt in the adjusted position the head of the bolt then engaging serrations on the adjacent guide member. The fine adjustment device shown is of the differential-screw type.
