[Classes 79 (iii) and 79 (iv)] In a motor vehicle, the chassis frame 3 is suspended, preferably at the rear end, by shackles 2, preferably with rubber &c. bushes, from a driving unit 1 including the engine and variable speed &c. transmission to shafts 5 in swinging half axles connecting the driving wheels 4, the outer ends of the half axles being supported by transverse springs attached to the unit.
