[Class 126] A hob-plate 2 for an electric, gas, or other cooking-stove is hinged at 3 at or adjacent to its rear edge and is provided with an internal catch 5 adapted to be engaged by a pivoted spring-controlled latch 6, which has an externally operable finger-plate 7 on the opposite side of its pivot to the catch, the frame of the stove shrouding the whole of the catch except the finger-plate.
