[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 5, 1934.] [Class 98 (i)] In roll-film cameras of the kind in which the film is fed from and into boxes 10, Fig. 2, having tangential slots 11, the film moving devices, such as spiked discs 23, coact with depressions 34 in the film supporting plate 6, so as to form burred perforations in the film 14 for the purpose of providing point contacts between the convolutions of the film as it rolls up in the receiving box, as shown in Fig. 6. In the construction described four spiked discs are mounted at the ends of two parallel shafts 24 intergeared so as to rotate in unison. The discs are positioned in housings 32 attached to the cover 3 of the camera casing. The film boxes are provided with a spring guiding tongue 15 which yields to accommodate the variations in size of the roll. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises (1) a construction of film receiving box in which warts or protuberances are formed on the surface of the box for reducing the frictional resistance to the winding of the film convolutions and (2) a construction of camera in which the prongs for punching holes in the film are mounted on an endless chain. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
