438,164. Trousers. MOORE, G. G., 25, Lulworth Road, Welling, Kent. Dec. 4, 1934, No. 34828. [Class 141] A device to secure the proper hang of the legs of trousers comprises a base plate 12 fixed to the pad-piece 14 of a sock-suspender, and provided with two pairs of lugs 15, 25, respectively, between which are pivoted struts 17, 27, respectively, the other ends of the struts having pivoted thereto tubular brackets 19, 29, which serve to clamp a trouser guide in the form of a helical spring 20, the upper end of which projects above the knee of the wearer. The position of the spring 20 is determined by means of a tongue 22 bent outwardly from the plate 12 to provide a stop either directly or through a screw for the strut 17. In a modification, only one strut is used, and the lower end of the strut may be provided with a downward projection adapted to contact either directly or through a screw with the base plate to define the position of the spring.
