Convention date, May 5, 1933. [Class 35] [See also Group XXXVII] A laminated core, more particularly for a switch or no-volt or overload release, is secured to its support by straps sprung into engagement with projections on or grooves in the laminae. In the form shown, the laminae of the fixed core 1 of a remote controlled switch have slots which form grooves 1<a>, 1<b>, into which project straps 2<a>, 2<b>, and the laminated armature 3 is similarly supported by straps 6a, 6b connected to the moving contact member. As an alternative, the straps may have recesses into which project extensions integral with the laminae. Where auxiliary switches are used, they may be carried by the straps. The core members carry relatively displaced shading coils 7.
