Convention dates, April' 4, 1933 and May 5, 1933. Drawings to Specification. [Class 56] An incandescent electric lamp for a motor car headlight has a bulb of glass which is made by melting a batch containing at least 0À25 (preferably 0À45) parts by weight of cadmium sulphide and 0À15 parts by weight of sulphur to 10 parts of sand. The glass absorbs light having a wave length less than about 0À5 micron, and the transmitted light is stated to give greater visibility than usual in fog.
