435,857. Abrading-wheels. WARBURTON, R. E. L., 42, Rutland Gate, South Kensington, London. Feb. 27, 1934, No. 6320. [Class 60] An abrading-wheel employing a tubular abrasive element or sleeve 3 comprises a rubber or other resilient supporting annulus 1<a> with inner tapered surfaces engaging correspondingly tapered conical surfaced end members 9, 10, the member 10 being secured to a hub 12 and the member 9 being movable by a nut 14, screwing on the hub, to expand the support within the sleeve 3. In a construction for smaller wheels, the supporting member of rubber &c. is mounted direct on a spindle, and is gripped and expanded by slightly conical end plates.
