Feb. 19, 1935, No. 5334. [Class 18] A drawer and shell box for cigarettes &c. in which the drawer b has a covering flap d which bears on the cigarettes z while leaving one end thereof easy of access is characterized in that the free edge of the covering flap d which runs transversely to the longitudinal direction of the cigarettes is continuous and undivided and prolonged in the form of a strip f obtained by bending and which bears flexibly on the cigarettes z. The strip f may extend forwardly and downwardly or be disposed at right angles to the flap d and its edge may be scalloped.
