Abstract

426,244. Toilet rolls &c. MOIR, J. W., 15, Polwarth Grove, Edinburgh. Aug. 13, 1934, No. 23286. [Class 73] A rolled web of paper &c. is severed into sections along single straight lines by providing straight incisions C extending inwards from each edge to uncut or unweakened zones D situated nearer to the edges than to the centre of the web, the zones D being connected by a straight line of perforations, incisions, or punch holes and one or more further uncut or unweakened zones F spaced at intervals ; the unweakened zones are in longitudinal parallel lines throughout the web, and the incisions C may be replaced by rows of closely adjacent perforations.
