Abstract

403,972. Controlling motor vehicles. VOKES, C. G., 95, Lower Richmond Road, Putney, London. July 1, 1932, No. 18658. [Class 79 (v).] An indicator showing the extent to which the throttle is open is flexibly connected to the throttle lever of the carburettor. In the construction shown the indicator 2 is mounted on the dashboard 19 and is connected by a Bowden mechanism 5 to the throttle lever 17. The Bowden wire 5 passes over and is fixed to a pulley in the indicator, this pulley being connected by another wire to the spindle of the pointer 3.
