Abstract

403,532. Building-slabs. WILLIAMS, S., 3, Mount Road, Hendon, London. Feb. 23, 1933, No. 1779. [Class 87 (i).] A building-slab comprises a reinforced-concrete frame L which is rabbeted at G to receive a number of panels A. In the form shown, each slab is provided with three panels which are disposed between the upper, lower, and intermediate cross-bars of the frame. Adjacent slabs are interconnected by bolts passing through bolts-holes D, F, and grooves E, I, for receiving grouting, are provided to complete the joint. The vertical members of the frame are recessed to receive dovetailed battens C to which lathing for plastering and picture mouldings are secured. Water of condensation is drained by providing a bevel H in the lowermost cross-bar and a weephole in the bottom panel.
