[Class 66.] One or more slots a are provided in the wall of a baking-tin at the level of the inner surface of the bottom to enable a knife blade to be introduced to free the cake or the like from the bottom of the tin. In a tin of circular shape two diametrically disposed slots are conveniently provided. In a rectangular tin slots are preferably provided at opposite corners extending into the adjacent walls.
