Abstract
407,332. Punching. WARD (WORCESTER), Ltd., J., and HANSON, T., Broad Street, Worcester. Jan. 14, 1932, Nos. 16801 and 20770. [Class 83 (iv).] In a machine for blank-punching &c. punches are secured to heads 26 horizontally reciprocated in succession by adjustable cam mechanism as described in Specification 406,306 or by eccentrics 19 through adjustable ball-ended rods 23. The punches &c. co-operate with dies 2 and stripper-plates 3 secured between inclined edges on the framing 6 and an adjustable arm 8. The strip is fed through a slot 1 in the stripper plate to the punching and forming tools. Waste falls down a shoot 14.
