Abstract
406,806. Twisting and doubling apparatus for imparting two twists per revolution. SOC. TEXTILE TWISTOK, Clos Montriant, Chamalieres, Puy-de-Dome, France. Nov. 3, 1932, No. 30978. Convention date, July 9. [Class 120 (ii).] In apparatus for twisting and doubling yarns wherein two twists are imparted for each revolution one of the deformable elements, such as wires 7, 8, which serve as a driving- connection between the discs 5, 6 on the rotary shafts 3, 4, serves also as means for guiding the yarns, which are led from one or more bobbins 1 carried by a stationary frame 2 through guides 24, 25 around one of the wires 8 or through a tube carried by one of the wires. Electric contacts 17, 17<1> are bridged to operate a stopmotion, by means of a fork 16 if the frame 2 is displaced and of a lever 22 connected to a rod 19 if the tension of the yarn is excessive.
