[Class 11.] Surfaces for drawing and painting upon.-A washable board or surface for painting or drawing upon consists of a base of fibrous material, such as cardboard, having a uniform slightly embossed surface, to which are applied one or more coatings of cellulose lacquer, at least one of such coatings consisting of nitrocellulose lacquer combined with finely powdered pumice. The embossed surface may be produced by means of engraved dies or plates.
