Abstract
387,911. Ropes. MACWHYTE CO., Kenosha, Wisconsin, U.S.A. June 22, 1932, No. 17643. Convention date, Oct. 16, 1931. [Class 109.] The strands B of a rope are lubricated as they pass to the closing die B<2> by passing them through a moving stream of relatively solid lubricant. A helical conveyer F<4> raises the lubricant through a tube H to a member I having a U-shaped top to receive the separated strands. Lubricant which does not adhere to the strands falls back into the lubricant container J.
