Abstract

364,161. Brackets; shelves. SAYER, J. and SAYER, R. A., 14, Holborn, London. Oct. 2, 1930, No. 29515. [Classes 52 (i) and 52 (v).] A bracket consists of a horizontal portion a, a vertical portion d, a sloping portion e and another vertical portion f which is passed through one of a series of holes i in an upright b so that the sloping portion e lies in the hole, the vertical portions d, f engaging longitudinal grooves g, h respectively, in the upright. The horizontal portion a may be formed as a shelf or as a shelf supporting arm. In a modification the part a is inserted in the hole in a small circular shelf which is prevented from rotating by a downwardly projecting arm engaging the longitudinal groove in the front of the upright. The rear edge of a shelf n may have a series of holes o which can be selectively engaged by the parts a of the brackets. Two brackets of the form shown in Fig. 4 may be connected together in spaced relationship to form a single bracket.
