[Class 106 (v).] Storage chambers for pulverulent and semi-fluent materials are provided with mechanical means for sweeping the material from the walls of the chamber to a central discharge opening to ensure a complete discharge of the contents. The storage chamber 15 has an inwardly sloping base 16 and a central discharge opening 17 leading to a measuring receptacle 13. A centrally mounted shaft 19 carries a transverse bar 22 on the lower side of which are mounted curved blades 27 in staggered relationship adapted to sweep the material towards the centre of the chamber, radial blades 33 being provided on the hub of the bar to level the material which has been discharged into the measuring receptacle 13 mounted on a reversely rotating sleeve 13<1> on the shaft 19. The measured material passes through a discharge opening 12 to a conveyer, not shown, which removes it from the chamber. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a series of endless belt conveyers 37, Fig. 6 (Cancelled), extending across the discharge opening 36 of the storage chamber, the belts having upstanding projections 38 and sweeping the material from the bottom of the chamber. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
