Abstract

The ageing of rubber and the like is retarded by the incorporation therewith of an amino derivative of a diaryl oxide, such as 4:41-diaminodiphenyl oxide. Other anti-ageing substances may also be added, such as the product described in Specification 280,661, [Class 70, Indiarubber &c.]. Examples are given showing the effect of the addition of the above substances.
