343,818. Scaffold clamps. LANE, C. J., 93, Oakley Street, Westminster Bridge Road, London. April 22, 1930, No. 12453. [Class 20 (ii).] A chain scaffold-cramp of the type in which the chain is tightened by a screw A having means B at one end whereby it is rotated and a rotatable bearing-plate C at the other end, the ends of the chain being secured to the wings of a nut D through which the screw passes, has the chain secured to the nut by means of spring clips F pivoted to the ends of the wing-nut D. The rotatable bearing plate is secured to the end of the screw by means of a screw C2 the end of which engages a groove in the end of the adjusting screw.
