Abstract
346,175. Mops. BRIGGS, EMMOTT, & CO., Ltd., and BANHAM, W., West High Street, Salford, Manchester. April 16, 1930, No. 12001. [Class 19.] Mops are made of a material consisting of tubular open and loosely knitted fabric of stockinette cut into annular sections A, Fig. 1, each section being stretched, as at B, Fig. 2, to the extent of or beyond its elastic limit, which strand retains the form to which it is stretched. A number of strands, either cut or left endless, are secured to any form of mop holder by staples or otherwise, or they may be stitched to a textile band or support. The mop may have a centre core of cord yarn C, Fig. 4, with strands D clamped between plates d, d<1>, and staples d<3>, or the mop may be formed entirely of cut strands B.
