Abstract
333,004. Haran, J. W. June 12, 1929. Shelves.-In a metallic frame structure, particularly for supporting shelves, vertical corner standards are provided, of L-, T- or other webbed cross-section, and integral tongues 14a are formed by stamping out the web or webs of the standards, such tongues supporting horizontal, longitudinal and/or transverse stays 15, 18 which support the shelves C, B, C, D. The members 15 may be notched, as at 15<a> for engagement with the tongues 14<a> or flat members 18 may be used. The edges of the shelves may be downwardly bent to engage over the members 15, 18, or tongues 20a may be formed thereon to' engage, adjustably, the members 15. Depending plates 21 may be provided to constitute backs or sides of the shelving, and the feet 26 may be made adjustable, to allow for inequalities in the level of the floor, by the provisions of steps 26<c>.
