Abstract

332,809. Watt, F. E. O. Sept. 13, 1929. Hand trucks. - Baskets &c. for shopping are provided with a pair of runner wheels 17, Fig. 1, disposed at the rear, below the handle 13, and with a. strut 18 arranged underneath the front portion. Fig. 3 shows a collapsable construction in which the sides 19, 21, carrying the wheels are adapted to fold within the recessed back portion 20, the front 22 and bottom 23 folding backwardly to lie outside it. The sides carry perforated lugs 28, 29, adapted to be engaged by pins 32, 31, on the bottom and front to maintain the article in the set-up condition. The handle 33 is provided at the upper edge of the back and the strut 30 is attached to the front portion.
