Abstract

331,211. Gulliford, A. G. Aug. 12, 1929. Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-Manoeuvre. signalling apparatus for use on road vehicles comprises one-piece compartmented casings A bearing stencilled signs backed by coloured glass adapted to be selectively illuminated by switches R, L, P, S, N controlling lamps B mounted on a supporting strip D. The hinged door G of the casing carries reflectors H for the compartments, inclined reflectors I being also arranged inside each compartment. Holes H<1> indicate if the compartments are alight. In a modification the stencilled signs are duplicated on opposite walls of the same casing.
