Abstract
331,007. Gramophone Co., Ltd., and Whitaker, A. April 8, 1929. Thermionic amplifiers.-In a back-coupled valve, a resistance 5 is inserted in the plate circuit of the valve 3 as shown for the purpose of maintaining a constant sensitivity, for a given setting of the reaction coils 6, 2, over the whole range of the tuning-condenser 4. The arrangement is also applicable when the coils 6, 2, are fixed and reaction is controlled by means of a condenser.
