Abstract
339,575. Superheater Co., Ltd., (Compagnie des Surchauffeurs). March 19. 1930. Controlling superheat ; superheating by steam.-Steam from which a part or the whole of its superheat is to be abstracted enters a coil 4 in a chamber 2 and flows thereafter through heat transfer elements 7 in a chamber 1. Water is supplied through a pipe 9 to chamber 1 in which steam is generated and from which it passes through a pipe 3 to chamber 2 in which it is superheated. This superheated steam is preferably conveyed through a pipe 13 and mixed with the desuperheated steam and a thermostat at point 12 in the outlet pipe 8 may control the inlet of water into chamber 1.
