Abstract

338,406. National Marking Machine Co., and Smith, L. S. Dec. 17, 1929. Laundry apparatus. - A laundry booth for receiving, sorting, and marking laundry articles comprises a box 17 for receiving the dirty linen and provided with a perforated false bottom for ventilation and to facilitate cleaning. Waist-high shelves 19, 20, are provided on either side of the box for supporting marking machines 21. Net bags 22 for receiving the sorted linen are carried on collapsable frameworks 24 secured to bars 23, 28 which are preferably pivoted as at 23 to form a gate-like structure or which, when a conveyer 27 runs along one side of the booth, may be fixed as at 28.
