337,327. Potter, E., (Neet, Inc.). Feb. 25,1930. Syringes. - A vaginal douche nozzle comprises a cylindrical shell 1, preferably of aluminium, constricted at one end 3, and engaging at the other end 7 a recess 8 in an aluminium or like base 10 formed with inlet and outlet nipples 12, 11. The end 3 is closed by a plug 16 perforated at 20 and flanged at 18 to engage the shell. The parts are secured together by a central tube 22 screwed to the base 10 and the plug 16 and serving to conduct liquid to the perforations 20. The shell 1 is formed with longitudinal depressions 5 having slots 6, alternately at the outer and inner ends thereof, to conduct spent liquid into the shell and thence to the outlet 14. A rubber pad 23 secured between the base 10 and a flange 2 on the shell, serves as an obturator.
