Abstract

320,129. Clayton, G. E. July 10, 1928. Signs.-Relates to a type cleaning and inking apparatus for use with vehicle wheels provided with raised type for printing advertisements on roadways. The cleaning brush 8 and inking roller 4 are carried on a common axis 6 and held against the vehicle wheel by a spring 9. By depressing the arm 10, the brush and roller are simultaneously raised, through the action of the wedge 11, into their inoperative position.
