Abstract

312,885. Feldman, E. D. Sept. 20, 1928. Coils; cores.-The rotor of a small motor for driving gramophones &c. consists of a number of coils mounted without iron on an open-ended cylinder of non-magnetic material enclosing an iron-cored stator. The cylinder 10 is of sheet brass &c. turned over at the end 11 to receive the ends of the coils 12, 13, which are further secured by a shrunk-on ring 19. The cylinder 10 is mounted on the spindle 8 journaled in the stationary iron core 4, which is provided with windings 6 and is removably mounted in the casing 4 by means of a, screw 5.
