Oil stoves. - In incandescent fires of the type employing radiants heated by vaporized oil burners. the oil supply pipe f passes through an extension of the horizontal burner tube a, which forms the vaporizer, and is in the, construction shown provided with a burner orifice g surrounding the tube f and an annular trough h to hold spirit for starting the burner. A valve i controls the vapour jet, and a valve j the supply of mixture from the burner tube to the vapourizer jet g. Preferably the tube j passes horizontally across the top of the burner in front of the radiants.
