Packing, metallic. - One or more split or segmental rings 1 are pressed inwards by two or more outer split, rings 4, 5, the joints of which are arranged at approximately 180‹ to one another.. Relative rotation is prevented by a pin in the ring 1 engaging the slot of the ring 4 and a pin in the ring 4 engaging the slot of the ring 5. The packings are fitted fluid-tight in casing-rings 10.
