Optical-projection apparatus. - In kinematograph projectors having a reflecting system 2, 6 to divert light to a lantern slide holder 7, a lens 4 or lens combination is provided between the reflectors to prevent the appearance in the picture of a shadow due to the electrodes of the projection lamp. As shown, the lens 4 is double concave and of short focus, and is carried by an arm 9 capable of being turned on a spindle 10 by a handle 11 movable between stops 12, 13. The reflector system &c. may be moved into or out of position automatically with movement of the reflector system into or out of use.
