Abstract
303,787. Soc. GÚnÚrale d'Optique, Soc. Anon. des Anciens Etablissements Huet et Cie JumeUes Flammarion. Jan. 9, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Telescope systems.-The inverting lens system of a telescope consists of three simple non- cemented lenses a - - c separated by air spaces, in place of the usual inverting system. The object is to obtain better correction together with a shorter overall length. The length of the inverting system is less than half its focal length and the smallest radius of curvature of the component lenses is greater than one-third of the focal length of the invertir.g system. Numerical data are given in the Specification.
