Abstract

303,640. Eriksson, K. G. Dec. 19, 1927. Gate and like take-off hinges. -In order to adjust vertically the flap 2 relatively to the flap 1 that carries the hinge pin 4 its socket 5 is formed with an internal thread, and this thread is engaged by a screwed pin 8 having a knob with a sleeve 9 resting upon a sleeve 6 which surrounds the socket member 5. A metal piece 10 is rigidly secured to the sleeve 6 and it bears against the upper end of the pin 4 so that the parts 3, 6 are not in frictional contact. When the pin 8 is turned with its sleeve resting upon the sleeve 6 the flap 2 is raised or lowered.
