Abstract

Refrigerators, domestic and like. - A cooling cabinet contains a porous annular vessel a holding a liquid and providing an air shaft c through which air is continually circulated by a fan e. The air, after passing through the provision space n of the cabinet, flows over a tray p of water and through a duct g and tank h to the shaft. Porous curtains q are suspended in the liquid in the tank which communicates through openings o with the atmosphere. In a modification, the duct g discharges into the atmosphere.
