Cards, wire; carding-engines.-Strips of card clothing for application to the fancies or other rollers of carding and scribbling machines are provided with strips b of wire teeth and intermediate plain spaces c, so disposed that when the strips are mounted longitudinally on the roller the strips of teeth will extend in a slightly helical direction.
