Abstract
309,000. Skrimshire, G. Dec. 29, 1927. Pedals, and foot-positioning devices. -A foot rest or stop 1 is provided in connection with a pedal 2 for controlling mechanism on motor vehicles, motor boats, and aircraft, and is arranged in front of the pedal as shown, so that the front of the operator's foot can rest on the stop and the amount of movement of the pedal can be controlled by flexing the foot. A heel stop 11 may be provided for positioning the foot. The stop 1 may be adjustable in height and comprises a base part 5, Fig. 3, and a slidable part 9 secured to the base by a bolt 8. According to the Provisional Specification the foot-rest may overhang at the top so as to be used in conjunction with the upper part of the toe of the boot.
