Abstract

299,258. Dash, G. H., and Hills, H. M. March 22, 1928. Tent poles.-Telescopic tent poles of the type having a spring interposed between abutments on a movable head portion and on a fixed portion within a sleeve, are provided with a cushioning device 13 to prevent rattle when the spring is nearly fully compressed. To lock the parts in fixed position, a pin 15 is provided to engage holes 16 which register in the fixed sleeve 10 and the movable tube 8.
