297,992. Perkins, A. Oct. 27, 1927. Sorting cards, manually. -A card for classification purposes has a row of holes b near to the edge and other holes c farther in and staggered with respect thereto. The holes are grouped by printed lines a and there are four holes in each field such as Band C, each hole having its value printed against it so that by slotting out one or more of the four holes, singly or collectively, the digits 1 - - 9 are represented.
